The countdown to departure in Eindhoven is running, the suitcase is filling up & final preparations are being made for the 10-day trip to Ireland 😊.
Tomorrow a parking spot at the airport will be booked so the car will be waiting for us safely until we return, and the suitcase will be packed...
But now to our plan for Ireland: When we arrive at Dublin Airport on Wednesday and have our rental car, we will drive across the island towards Galway. The first two nights are already booked and located in the region. We will book other accommodations locally so that we are not dependent on overnight stays, but can decide freely how much we travel. We have heard that last-minute accommodations are easy to find in the off-season. We also want to try couchsurfing for the first time; We are curious to see what awaits us. From Galway, we will drive south along the Wild Atlantic Way to Cork and spend the last two nights in Dublin.
We would like to go hiking for a day or two. The weather forecast looks great for that, but who knows what the weather will be like when we are there
Our motto: Live in the moment, explore the island by car, enjoy the time & wait and see what comes our way.
The anticipation is growing...
