In my journey from Lisbon to Porto, I noticed how clean and well-maintained many cities looked. Even the small towns were well taken care of. The Portuguese have invested a lot of time and effort in cleaning up their cities, making them beautiful, and appealing to tourists. I believe they have done a commendable job. Street art plays a significant role and is widely used. In every town, you can see large and small paintings, graffiti, and artworks that bring color to the surroundings.
In Porto, I took part in an Urban Arts Walking Tour, which was incredibly thrilling and stunning. The most expensive piece of art in Porto was on display – a work made of tiles on the wall of a house. Additionally, I saw street paintings by a city cleaner. We also visited one of the oldest and most exquisite cafes in Porto, which has now been transformed into a McDonald's.
I don't want to bore you with all the stories about the art as I have forgotten more than half of them anyway. So, let me just show you the pictures. Enjoy!
