Tag 74 - Mariana's siblings

As it turns out, Franchezca is Mariana's sister. And another brother, José Angel, is also in one of Luis' classes, whose name I can't remember right now. Franchezca volunteers for individual lessons, which means an extra hour of class for her. I have practiced conjugation with her several times, with small but steady progress. It's really fun. Sorry, Javier, but you were quite challenging. Right now, Luis is taking care of him during regular class hours.

When asked about the number of siblings she has, Franchezca got a bit confused while counting. Oops, so many? In the end, she came up with a total of twelve children, two of whom died as babies. I didn't dare to ask about her father, who may be the same as Mariana's and recently passed away. Mariana now stands in front of her house on the corner every afternoon selling food. Yesterday, we bought a huge portion of grilled chicken from her, with fried banana slices and coleslaw, packed in banana leaves and eaten with our fingers. Let's hope this is not the definitive end of her education.
