When I arrived in Nago, I asked myself whether I was ready for a city again.
But Nago turned out to be a really wonderful decision.
After I was able to enjoy fish in an Iakaya and then arrived at the hostel - Usuman hostle - in the dark, I met a wonderful travel acquaintance here again. He's not just interested in brutalism - he's completely absorbed in it, has illustrated books and is well-known in magazines and is asked if he can introduce tourists to brutalism.
The hostle was so close to the beach that I enjoyed the sunrise there (I say, Nago was a good decision) and then later in the day I took the bus to the coral reef and the varied coral reef made my day more colorful. Snorkeling without a proper snorkel is extremely tiring. Then we went back to Nago - off to the bus and back to Naha.
There is still a karate course on the agenda - that should be the next day - so let's go back to the beautiful town in the south of the island. The city where my trip to Okinawa began.
