Today I was awake at 5 and lay down again because it was pouring rain. I got up shortly before 6 and packed up my things downstairs so as not to disturb the others. Once out it rains a little and it's still dark. After 10 minutes the rain comes pouring down and I wonder why I didn't just stay in bed. In general, it's not that fun in the pouring rain, apart from the fact that I would have limited visibility with the hood and fogged-up glasses. The problem is that you never know exactly how long and how hard it will rain. I tried it a few times, but there was no improvement in sight. If I had had a coffee, I would have sat down somewhere. Then I passed a wine barrel where pilgrims can pour themselves wine for free. Unfortunately the wine barrel isn't filled until 8 a.m. and waiting an hour in the rain wasn't an option for me. So I moved on and took off my jacket under a bridge. The rain camp stays warm, even when it is shaken by the wind. Then I got lost or the marking is just really bad. I ended up on the highway and then used the app to guide me back on the right path. In general, I don't think getting lost is a bad thing, but if it's raining and you haven't had breakfast, then you're not in a good mood. Back on track, the rain had let up and it was just windy. Although windy would be an understatement. I was afraid that my cape would fly away and was also happy to have some luggage with me so that I wouldn't take off. In any case, I'm in Los Arcos shortly after 11 and taking a break. A warm drink would be nice, but I love just taking a break on a bench, especially when the sun is out. So I rested and ate my reserves and a protein bar I bought. And then it went further or downhill...
