Dag van aankoms

Let's start with section 1 Flight to Frankfurt. Since we had a long layover, we were able to visit the city a bit.

Surprisingly, it was 'Cristopher Street Day' there, so we were able to enjoy the procession and bustle of the CSD. After that, a short visit to the really good Asian restaurant.

Then back in the plane. The 12.5 hours on the plane passed easily due to the night flight, a short layover at Singapore Airport. Compared to there, it was less crowded, the quick visit to the airport was good for our feet, so we experienced the remaining 9 hours without any problems (another night flight).

The approach to Christchurch was breathtaking, the Alps covered in snow, sunshine and the temperature not really cold.

After checking in at the accommodation, we took a short walk around Christchurch, as an introduction for the next day.
