Vamos a la Playa, oh oh oh oh oh.
You don't have to thank me for the catchy tune, I was happy to do that. ;)
A very famous beach in northern Spain is Playa de Las Catedrales. A beach that reveals a variety of special cave structures and stone formations, especially at low tide.
Since I had to get past it one way or another and generally find stone very interesting, I went there the next day at peak low tide.
A few other people also had the idea and unfortunately, despite the low season, I wasn't really alone here.
It was still very, very beautiful and the stones and caves are absolutely worth a visit.
I've just uploaded a few pictures to the post for you. You can look at the others in the series of pictures.
From here we continued towards the De Los Picos de Europa National Park. Here I picked out another hike that I really wanted to do.
But more on that in the next post.
Until then enjoy the beach pictures,
Your Britta
