Today on July 23, 2019, we have been married for three years. Full of love, we look back on this day at the Friedenskirche in Löbtau and remember the intoxicating, lively celebration with our families and friends.
Like every year on our anniversary, we take stock of our relationship. We realize that we have already overcome tough times together and are currently at the peak of happiness. We are so blessed to have our little treasure Bruno with us.
Since the weather this morning did not seem suitable for the beach, we took a trip to Königsstuhl instead. The landmark of Rügen, consisting of chalk cliffs, towers magnificently above the sea in the northeast of the island. To admire the natural monument, it is best to park in Hagen at the parking lot near the hiking trail. Along a well-established path through the forest, you will reach the Königsstuhl National Park Center after about three kilometers. On the way, you can expand your knowledge about the surroundings at various information boards. The forest, consisting of old beech trees, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers the hiker's eye numerous natural phenomena.
If you do not want to visit the exhibition in the National Park Center, you can also enjoy a wonderful view of the Königsstuhl and the surrounding, turquoise sea from the Viktoria-Sicht viewpoint.
We also enjoyed the view from the nearby viewpoint and were able to take great photos, because the weather turned really nice around noon.
We ended the evening with a delicious meal on the balcony.
