Where are the kangaroos on Kangaroo Island?

I'm sitting in the hotel and looking out the window at the sea. There are an incredible number of pelicans circling right outside my window. I could go outside now and take photos from outside. But the pelicans do their "business" in flight in several small splashes, which they distribute well! From where I know this? I saw it and ran so I wouldn't get anything 😀. Now I'd rather stay inside and watch these huge planes in "safety".

I saw a lot of animals on Kangaroo Island. Ecchidna, monitor lizards, sea lions, koalas, pelicans... but what I didn't see were kangaroos. At least living ones. You see a lot of people lying on the side of the road, and they stay there. I don't think anyone will clear them away here 😞. Unfortunately, I didn't see any live, jumping kangaroos here! Tomorrow I'm going back into the city - I'm sure I won't see any more...
