End of the year 2021

New Year's Eve: Bright blue sky, that's how it should be for the last day of the year (and hopefully also the first day of the new year). While Martin was watching winter sports on his laptop, I had my morning coffee outside in the garden. By the way, I calculated: we are now celebrating the New Year's Eve on the southern hemisphere for the 11th time, so in the summer.

In the meantime, we are preparing dinner for tonight: sweet potato soup and palta a la Reina (stuffed avocado). We have guests again, and they are bringing everything for the Pisco Sour. It must not be missing here in Peru, it's kind of a national drink. But before that, we will have the New Year's Eve service in our church. It will be the first communion since almost 2 years. For this occasion, small individual chalices have been made by a potter.
