As promised, we were awakened this morning by chirping birds and crashing waves. The day began at 7 am. Fresh and lively (after almost 10 hours of sleep), we climbed out of bed. Brushing our teeth on the beach - something you can do (; then a new, previously unknown challenge: how the hell does everything fit in the car with the bed built? Hooray for Tetris. An hour and a handful of bad moods later, we rolled away from the campsite. The owner of the campsite gave us the tip to drive past a few waterfalls away from the Great Ocean Road. Done and done. Basti had fun, I didn't. A 30m gorge next to me and the roads as narrow as a field path. Through the rainforest. Help!! The compensation for that were the waterfalls. Beautiful hiking trails through the forest. Finally back on paved roads, I breathed a sigh of relief. Who wanted adventure again? 😁 Soon after, we reached our destination for the day - the 12 Apostles. Amazing coastline! Several small destinations followed shortly afterwards: London Bridge, The Arch, and The Grotto. So beautiful! At 4 pm, we realized that we would need accommodation soon. Our great app led us a bit off the beaten path. Well, olay... We ended up in the middle of nowhere. Oh well^^ at least we had the opportunity to test if the Australian network provider keeps its promises. Now we're here, 8:30 pm, it's pitch black, and the mosquitoes have already eaten us alive. Goodnight dear world 🌏
