After a 5-hour flight from Melbourne, we arrived in Nadi in the evening during the sunset and were taken to our hostel right on the beach with a spectacular shuttle bus ride. โ๏ธ๐
For the first two days, we stayed in our hostel and took a day trip to the city of Nadi (although we still don't know which city we actually landed in :)). During our shopping tour in the small town, we were invited to a welcome ceremony by a local and ended up in a local souvenir shop for some Kava drinking (which apparently was not your normal tea ๐ต๐คญ). Happily, we found some larger hand luggage for our onward journey and made our way back with a stopover for our new favorite food: Butter Chicken๐๐
In the evening, we met famous New Zealand female rugby players at the daily campfire and ended the evening with Fiji Gold (beer). ๐ฅ๐ป

hoffentlich nicht vom Lรถwen gefressen.
