The team participated in tree planting activities, contributing to a green and healthier environment. Alongside the ecological efforts, we spent joyful moments interacting with the children, we were playing games, sharing laughter, and distributing small gifts including sweets, books and coloring materials. The initiative not only brought smiles to the children’s faces but also environmental awareness from a young age.

After lunch, we resumed our work at the ceramic atelier, focusing on the burning phase of the ceramic pieces we had previously crafted. This hands-on experience allowed us to deepen our understanding of traditional ceramic techniques and continue our own creative journey.

The evening was filled with music and joy as we gathered to sing and enjoy dinner together. Later, I found some quiet time for myself, which I used to read and practice embroidery - a peaceful and fulfilling end to a productive day.

The day was a beautiful blend of community service, artistic expression, and personal growth. Walking through its ancient alleys and admiring the old doors was such a touching experience; every corner seemed to whisper stories of past generations. The walls and ceilings carried echoes of laughter, tears, and family life from long ago. Afterward, we headed to a ceramics workshop, where we watched Youssef, a talented artisan, transform clay into beautiful pieces of art. The most memorable moment was when Youssef received a call from his family asking him to craft a traditional Berber oven, or tannour, from scratch — a true reflection of how their culture values creating from the earth instead of buying. It was such a meaningful and inspiring day that blended history, culture, and craftsmanship perfectly.

the following is a personal report by Mohamed from Morocco:

Daily Report – Trip to Tamnougalt

Today was an amazing and enriching day during our exchange program. It was interesting to see how local people work with care and tradition to produce something so important for the community.

When we got back to the riad, we had some time to rest and relax before the evening activities.

In the evening, we played games with Lukas, which helped us laugh, bond, and strengthen our team spirit. After breakfast, we held our daily morning circle, in which all participants were informed about organizational things. To start the day in a joyful way we also played a game with the whole group. After a brief pause to get ready, the group set off to see and learn about the oasis in Agdz. Lead by Rachid, we learned a lot about the local vegetation, agriculture, and issues. Local farmers mostly plant dates, pomegranate and food for their animals. The main issue we were made aware of is the increasing dryness and lack of rain, mainly caused by climate change. This has caused many to move to big cities. One of the few remaining local farmers, the father of one of the participants, then invited us to a cup of tee in his garden. After returning to the riad, we were greeted with already prepared potato, carrot, and chicken Tajin. After our daily siesta, we gathered in the main square to play games in mixed nationalities. After the game session, we enjoyed a very delicious meal, kindly provided by the riad. To finish up the day, we held our nation separate evening circles to reflect on highlights and challenges of the day. Afterwards, the group scattered into either staying awake and spending time together in various ways or going to bed to be well rested for the next day.

Day 3 (01.10): Oasis and Garden day

Day 3 (01.10): Oasis and Garden day

Day 3 (01.10): Oasis and Garden day

Day 3 (01.10): Oasis and Garden day

The Art Of Becoming Together - Youth Exchange Agdz(Morocco) 2025 🇲🇦🇨🇿🇩🇪

<geo:lat>30.70610801711597</geo:lat><geo:long>-6.448789484496273</geo:long>

Day 1-2 (29./30.09.25): Travel days

Day 1-2 (29./30.09.25): Travel days

English: On September 29 we all set off towards Berlin Airport where both the German and Czech groups united.
