Switzerland is one of the most beautiful country's in the world. There are such beautiful places. You can visit the alps or one of the lakes.  Naturally you can make some nice city trips. Its famous for the good food, for the swiss chocolate and also for the swiss watches. However, there are a few funny and strange things a traveller should keep in mind:

- from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. it is prohibited to slam the car door, bonnet or case lid loudly.

- Dogs are allowed to eat for personal use. However, if you invite a person living outside your own household to eat, you are violating the law.

- If you park your car without being in flowing traffic for a short time, you can expect a fine of 40 francs.

- As a cyclist there is a fine of CHF 20 for letting go of the pedals.

- It is also forbidden to wear high-heeled shoes after the night rest.
