Places, things you should not do and rules and regulation in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is a beautiful Island. You can visit a lot of Places there. For example Sigiriya is a beautiful ancient ruined city and rock fortress. Or if you want to see wild animals you can visit the
Yala-National park, there you can see Birds, leopard and elephants. Or you can also visit the Rawana Falls.

· In Sri Lanka you shouldn’t shake you hands. You have to greet them by folding you hands and bend in front of them

· You must wear appropriate clothes.

· And if you visit a temple you must take of you shoes and walk in with barefoot, because if you ware shoes it’s a insult for god and the culture in Sri Lanka.

· You should always keep smiling and if you visit someone you should also take of your shoes.

· Basically, a woman should behave appropriately. Women and men are not allowed to exchange tenderness in public, holding hands is in general allowed.
