Because the selected hostel was full, Akhil and I stayed with the neighbor before the "race loser" joined us. Both continued a day later, I needed/wanted another day for my preparations for my first hike to the meadow below the 6000m peaks Marx, Engels, and Co. Not so easy to get anywhere in the Pamir on a Sunday! Some ministry employees on summer vacation took pity on me and gave me a ride for a good distance before I covered the rest in smaller steps. The views over to Afghanistan remained spectacular, but the hike itself was less so, which also had to do with my physical condition - sunburn, digestion, altitude, and period all played their part. Saying goodbye is the hardest part for sure, but now we've packed our stuff and started our journey, after having a good styrian \'schnitzel\'. Thanks to our family and friends for the support, without your help we couldn\'t manage the whole trip. Even though it\'s hard for us to leave everything behind, we\'re looking forward to see you all again. We\'ll inform you about the news of our trip as often as possible ;)

Today we had school for the last time. You would think that everyone knows the way to school by now - but that's not true. This morning we went in the wrong direction and arrived half an hour late. Ooopppss.... 

Hopefully it goes better on Monday!😄

After school, we went to the park (Harrow Recreation Ground) for a short while and then went to the Jack the Ripper Tour in Aldgate, followed by a visit to the pub to start the weekend off right.
