On the last day, we chose Miami South Beach as our stop. More precisely, Miami South Pointe Beach. That's basically Miami South South Beach ;-)
We were able to find a fairly inexpensive parking spot. $2 per hour is a very good rate on the island.
Even on the way along the water, there were opportunities to photograph Miami's skyline. It gets really great on the South Pointe Pier. From there, there is a great view of the beach, the sea, and parts of Miami.
The South Pointe Park is right next door, where you can have a picnic (including a small snack bar) and there is a playground for children.
Unfortunately, the weather was not so good in the afternoon. The kids were already very tired, so we left a little earlier than planned and it took almost 3 hours for the almost 100km to the Florida Keys... *Gag*
We also got a brief glimpse of the shopping mall on Lincoln Road on the way back. It looked pretty crowded...
Back again, it was mainly about packing clothes :-)
