Day 61 to 63 - Welcome to the Philippines - the land of a thousand islands

ที่ตีพิมพ์: 03.04.2024

On March 31st We have now left Indonesia again and drove 4.5 hours by boat from Gili T. to Sanur in one day. Then we picked up our luggage at the hotel and were even allowed to shower again so we could travel by plane from Denpasar to Manila. From there we went straight on to Coron on the island of Palawan. The Hotel Velo Terraces was really the worst we've had so far, but it was bearable. at least the air conditioning worked. The snorkeling tour the next day was really impressive. Beautiful bays and beaches, the Twin Lagoons, coral reefs as far as the eye can see, lonely tiny islets and Japanese shipwrecks from World War II. It was really special. But the highlight was lunch, which the boys cooked for us on the boat and we ate on a small island with turquoise water and white sand. Mega!! We met really nice people again, for example Annika and Dave from Sydney with Uncle Frank, born in Hamburg, who is now a horse veterinarian in Sydney. There are coincidences in this world... Really funny! Or Katja and Jolanda from Nuremberg, who have known each other since elementary school and have been traveling together for 20 years. A young woman wanted to marry Frederik straight away, simply because of our funny last name 😂😂 yes Beermann 🍻🍻 is always a joke!

In the evening we had delicious ribs and fried fish and there was live music in the Bam Bam Bar and the wreck and deep divers sang and danced.

Just two wonderful days, we continue to El Nido
