There are some Indians who ask if you take a photo with them. Johannes always wants to take a selfie too.

Wake up at 4:30 am, want to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Walk with Johannes (from yesterday) & Ryan (from the USA) to the Taj Mahal. Agra stinks, the vendors are incredibly annoying, and there is not much beautiful there. The cows eat from the garbage.

The doors of the Taj Mahal open at 5:30 am. It was soooo exciting. The building is incredibly impressive. We are in love. Fortunately, we arrived so early. Sweating already at 6 am due to incredibly high humidity & high temperatures (around 35 degrees at noon, feels like 40). Visitors are mainly Indians. Took some nice tourist pictures & let the Taj Mahal have an impact on us.

We had breakfast on the hostel rooftop with a beautiful view. Monkeys (unfortunately) threw our bottles off the table and tried to open them (we were told, sounded funny).

Then we lay down for a few minutes until we had to leave our room. Walked through a park with the boys, where we could see peacocks.

With Ryan, we take the bus to Jaipur. The pink city. This time 6€ for 300km, from now on we are frugal again. On the highway, you see more animals (cows, dogs, pigs, sheep, camels, goats), joggers & people walking than cars.

Our hostel is quite pretty this time and the bedding doesn't smell musty for once.

Tomorrow we will go on a discovery tour of Jaipur.
