After arriving in Mexico City around half past midnight a day later, I was immediately upgraded from a 4-bed mixed dormitory to a 4-bed female dormitory in the hostel 💪 Then I went to a gay bar to meet Julio for a beer. It ended up being 3 beers and we danced a lot.
On Saturday, I was a bit tired and took the metro to Chapultepec Park to go to the National Museum of Anthropology. Apparently, I was still a bit hungover and ended up in the wrong museum (history museum) at Chapultepec Castle. At least I had a nice view of the skyline of Mexico City from the castle. After that, I finally made it to the anthropology museum. The museum is huge and shows that there were not only Mayans and Aztecs in Mexico and that the pre-colonial peoples were very creative in naming their gods (e.g. Quetzalcoatl). By coincidence, I also met Bernardo, an acquaintance from Uruguay, at the museum. Then I had some tacos and went to bed early 😴
