After the big city, I'm back in nature. I'm going to the Iguazu Falls (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iguazu_Falls). I'm already there after an 18-hour bus ride ;)
On the first evening at the hostel, I meet 3 nice Germans and we go to the falls together the next day. We leave by local bus only one hour later than planned. The excitement increases when we arrive at the park.
Despite the many people who come here every day, the whole area has a natural feel. There are a lot of animals to see - cute, big, small, nice, and some that you could do without. 30 seconds after entering the facility, I was stung by an unknown flying object. The little creature was so generous and left its sting with me. But nothing can stop us. We head towards the water and the excitement increases a bit.
Seeing the huge amount of water is impressive. For a brief moment, you can even ignore the crowds of people around you. We see the miracle from many different perspectives.
A very calm ride downstream is also on the program.
At the end of the day, we are all exhausted but already full of anticipation for day 2, when we will take a boat directly under the waterfalls. We end the evening with a very delicious restaurant visit.
The next day, we are in the park on time and enjoy the boat tour to the fullest. The view is great. The highlight is, of course, the ride into the waterfall!
