On Tuesday, we initially went in the 'wrong direction' and that was heading south. We planned to stay on the Curonian Spit, a peninsula that belongs half to Lithuania and half to Russia (Kaliningrad). It felt strange to be so close to the Russian territory. However, the accommodation that we booked for 2 days seems to still be in hibernation, so the ferry that operates between Dreverna and the peninsula will only start operating from the beginning of June....good preparation is half the battle. Nevertheless, it was beautiful, maybe a bit mosquito-rich, but surely these won't be the last creepy crawlies accompanying us.
On Wednesday, we took a break from cycling and instead visited an aquarium filled with fishes....
Unfortunately, rain is forecasted for tomorrow, we have to start the second stage....this time heading north. Next stop: Dinopark Radailiai
