After a rather short night, I went straight to the beach this morning at 6 (200 m as I said :)) and admired the sunrise. It was a bit cloudy, but that made it even more beautiful. After that, we went to Hot Water Beach, where you can dig holes in the sand and hot water (80 degrees!!!) comes up. Personally, it was too warm for me with the weather and too crowded. But the sea was all the more pleasant and the waves were just amazing.
Afterwards, most of us spent the afternoon in the shade or on the beach, or walked to Cathedral Cove. But it was still too warm for me, so I waited until evening together with Alex, a backpacker from Bulgaria. And it turned out to be the best decision ever. On the way there, it was still scorching hot, but there were only a few people at the Cove.
But the highlight came afterwards when we went to another bay. We were completely alone there and explored another cave. Large crabs kept scuttling ahead of us on the way, and we also saw sea urchins and some fish. It was simply fantastic :) On the way, I found out from Alex that she is a pharmacist and works in the pharmaceutical industry in Bulgaria. They really follow me everywhere 😂
When we got back to the camp, it was already dark, so I quickly took a shower, had two peanut butter toasts, and now I'm writing this quickly so that I can go to sleep soon :)
