Ngati Toa Domain, Porirua in Wellington
To learn a lot about New Zealand's nature, history and culture, we visit the famous National Museum "Te Papa Tongarewa". Since there is a lot to discover and learn here, we spend several hours in this donation-based museum. At the end of the visit, we all agree that this museum is an absolute must-see. Many different topics are presented in detail and brought to life through visual representation and personal stories. The people behind the information are also shown. In addition, the museum allows you to experience many things firsthand, for example, there is a room where an earthquake is simulated or you can take an entry test under the conditions of the past. To satisfy our hunger, we have pizza from Pizza Hut for dinner. Afterwards, we return to the campground where we have been staying for the past few nights, but we get caught in a huge traffic jam around Wellington, which is why we arrive two hours later.
