One of our most beautiful accommodations. We had very loving owners here who were about our age. We didn't do anything on the first day and recovered from our journey. There was a whirlpool on the terrace. That's where we spent the evenings.
In addition, we were able to observe the hummingbirds from there. The owners had 4 dogs and two cats. Such lovely and beautiful animals. We were even more amazed when she told us that she has all the animals from the street.
We would have liked to stay for another night but unfortunately it was already fully booked. So we continued on our way. As a stopover we went to the Irazú volcano. This is the highest volcano in Costa Rica at 3432 m. The stratovolcano is one of the most dangerous and unpredictable volcanoes in the country. It last erupted in 1994. It was 10 degrees and foggy up there.
