Guta Discovery Tour muAuckland

Rakabudiswa: 04.03.2020

Hey guys!

After sleeping in and having a relaxed breakfast, we each booked a ticket for the Sky Tower in Auckland online and then went there.

Upon arrival, we took the elevator up 51 floors and were able to enjoy a beautiful view of the city and the water. After a few minutes, we went up to the 60th floor to experience a 360-degree view. Unfortunately, it was occasionally a bit foggy and we couldn't see as much, but it was still more than worth it!

After that, we went to the harbor, which is about a 15-minute walk away, and rented bikes there. We did our own sightseeing tour, which was definitely cheaper than taking the bus! 😅 So we rode our bikes around Auckland for about two hours and got to see the harbor, the skyline, and the Pink Walkway.

Afterwards, we returned the bikes and walked along the harbor again because we liked it so much. We sat by the water and rested from the exhausting ride 😅. Then we went to a Mexican restaurant to eat our very first tacos. And you have to say, they were really good. 🤤

After that, we walked back to our hostel along Queen Street (a famous shopping street). On the way, we found a souvenir shop where we both picked something out, as well as H&M, where I bought a new bikini. Because my bikini is definitely not wearable after the mud bath 😅.

Back at the hostel, we relaxed for a while and got free ice cream. 😊

In the evening, we decided to go back to the Sky Tower and watch the sunset from there. We actually booked a ticket that we could use all day. However, there were a lot of clouds in the sky, so the sunset didn't look as spectacular.

After that, we went back to the hostel and cooked dinner, pasta with tomato sauce. We sat at the table with the German boy for a while and talked before going to bed.

Best regards from Auckland, New Zealand 🇳🇿

Yours, Jojo 💫
