And here we are, on the last full day of this wonderful (exciting) trip. Our day started with breakfast at the hotel. Then we took an Uber to the heliport. Today, we had another highlight on the agenda, a helicopter sightseeing tour over Cape Town. After purchasing our tickets, we joined four other people (actually Germans) at the helicopter. The sightseeing tour lasted 20 minutes and from up high, we saw all the highlights that Cape Town has to offer. After takeoff, we initially flew over the city's harbor. Then we flew past Table Mountain towards Muizenberg. From there, we continued along Chapman's Peak Drive towards Hout Bay, passing by the Twelve Apostles. Finally, we flew over the coastal towns of Camps Bay and Sea Point. We found the sightseeing tour truly breathtaking and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town. Of course, if you have issues with flying, you might want to reconsider, as it was quite shaky at times. After the helicopter tour, we headed to the mall to buy the final accessories for our families and friends. In the afternoon, we played 2 rounds of mini golf by the sea before returning to the hotel in the early evening. We will conclude our last evening here at the hotel restaurant, reflecting on our vacation. More details about departure and the flight will be provided tomorrow from the airport.
