We took the shortcut over the mountains to reach the Pag Peninsula. This cost us at least 1.5 hours and led 20 km over a gravel road through an area that is still mined. However, we enjoyed incomparable views over the mountains and passed by the Pierre Brice Memorial. The Pag Peninsula is very barren and filled with tourists. The main town seemed like a southern Italian city with strong Polish influences. We decided to drive to the very end to explore an olive grove where trees up to 2000 years old can be found. We spent the evening on the beach or in a nice restaurant right by the water.
