The park was recommended to us by someone we met at a campsite.
We didn't find it as exciting as they did, but it is still very beautiful and has a great atmosphere. Camping at the adjacent campground is included in the admission fee. We took a guided tour of the park during the day, which gave us a lot of information about its history, although that part was a bit boring 😉 The evening tour was cooler because it was dark, the waterfall was illuminated, and parts of the park were too. At the end, there are small water displays at the castle, which is also lit up.
It's nice to walk through the park at night. They provide flashlights so you don't step on snakes or to help you get found in case you get attacked by a crocodile. Plus, the light from the flashlights attracts spiders and insects. All in all, it's a pretty cool experience, a win-win situation, you could say.
We also saw glowing mushrooms, they were really cute...
It was raining too. There were also children on the tour, and they had the most fun with the flashlights, especially when the ranger wanted to show something and asked everyone to turn off their flashlights 😂😂 It worked great
