From the Sognefjord, we continued to the Stegastein viewpoint, which was about 8 km uphill on winding roads. The road was so narrow that we believe there should be a sign at the bottom stating that motorhomes are not allowed, as sometimes you can't even pass each other. What makes this viewpoint special is not only the view itself, but also the fact that it is enjoyed through a freestanding bridge.
About 60 km away, after visiting the Stegastein Lookout, we saw the 'Tvindefossen' (waterfalls). These waterfalls are very famous and therefore well-visited. We were lucky and buses of visitors arrived only after us.
Our final destination for the day was Eidfjord, where we camped and went fishing. Because it rained so much, we were really chilled today. The temperatures here are currently 8-11 degrees during the day and sometimes only 4 degrees at night.
