In Norway, we continued from the Strandheim campsite towards Beitostolen. We had originally planned to do the hiking trail Knutshøe, but it is not recommended after so much rain and since the trail also includes some climbing passages, we didn't want to take any risks.
Before continuing, we had to make a stop at the hospital because Mike had caught a tick (3 days ago) and unfortunately, it has been getting worse day by day, with a red circle indicating Lyme disease. After the hospital, he was prescribed antibiotics for 10 days, hopefully, it will improve now.
Since we only set off around 1 pm due to the stopover, we didn't drive all the way to Geiranger. We took the Valdresflye scenic road in that direction, which was incredibly beautiful!
Along the way, we were able to do some short hikes and arrived at our next campsite, Gjeilo, around 6:30 pm, right by another fishing lake :). We hope the rain will subside at least for a day so that our things can dry. We will then continue to Geiranger in the morning.
