The last tree is planted.

E phatlaladitšwe: 25.03.2019

On Friday, we actually managed to plant all the trees. Everyone expected that we would need at least until Tuesday, but➡️ great team! Our boss then told us that he would come by again on Monday and tell us if he had more work for us. Well, unfortunately that's not the case... but we earned very good money in the two weeks, which will be enough for a long time 😊 On Friday, I fell exhausted into bed and didn't get out again for a while 😁 the work was really exhausting on some days, especially in the strong heat...almost everyone missed at least 1 day due to severe headaches or vomiting, even the boss. But in the end, we all managed to plant about 4000 lemon trees together!

On Saturday and Sunday, there wasn't much to do except laundry, shopping, and tidying up the house before leaving. In addition, we had 37 degrees and didn't even want to leave the house, but were grateful for our ceiling fans 🙌🏼 Today we were out in the town for a bit and at the tourist information office recommended by our colleagues. There, spots were shown to us where it is very likely to find koalas. Our place is known for many koalas. But the trip was disappointing once again. However, hope is not given up. 🐨

Our car is loaded again and ready to go for the departure, which we will start tomorrow morning and then be on the road for about 5 hours towards the coast again. Then it's back to the tent... after 1 month of luxury, it will probably be a adjustment again 🙈 I have already planned all the other places, written them down and checked how many hours we need for what. Our next destination will first be a national park, recommended to us by our boss, where there are supposed to be great waterfalls. On the journey, you will hear and see more from me again 🙂☀️
