Just a few kilometers from Vega is Torghatten - a huge rock hole with a height of 35 meters and a length of 160 meters. It was washed out by the sea before the island began to rise after the ice age.
The hike was short, taking only half an hour, but the arch and the view were impressive.
Nevertheless, we were really hungry after the hike and cooked up a storm, even impressing the outdoor experts from Finland and Norway. No one can beat us when it comes to cooking and eating!
After a good meal, I went on a bike tour around the island, while Anita and the kids stayed on the beach.
With the help of neoprene, the water of the European Arctic Ocean was not a problem, and the kids splashed and played in it for hours. Konstantin even said he wanted to keep the neoprene on because it was as warm as in the motorhome.
