Directions to my Workaway place

Ippubblikat: 28.04.2018

On the first day, I was lucky that my Workaway host could pick me up in Granada as he happened to be in the area. He picked me up at a gas station in the early evening. My hostel was on the other side of the city, so I walked through the city with my bags.

I arrived a bit earlier at the agreed meeting point and sat on a small wall. My back was already a bit sore after half an hour of walking around the city. While I waited, I tried to remember the picture of my Workaway host that I had seen on the website. After a short while, a larger car with a large loading area approached. There were two people in the car, a woman and a man driving. They stopped, rolled down the window, and asked if I was Jonathan. I confirmed, and we drove towards Quesada together. In the car, I also met Nepal, a small dog who immediately seemed friendly and sat under my feet for the whole journey.

The journey took about 2 hours, passing by mountains and of course, many olive trees. Spain is the largest olive producer in the world, and the majority of olives are produced in Andalusia.

After about 2 hours, we finally arrived at the country house in Quesada, which was surrounded by olive trees.
