After a STRENGTHENING breakfast, the esteemed traveler packed his things and started the day with morning exercise. I had to drag my whole mess from the Palazzo, where I had snored, to the garage, because of course I didn't dare to show up on Sunday morning with the moped in front of the church!

I might as well have tarred and feathered myself...

What a vision! Me in a mankini, smelling like a buck, and with a bunch of fluffy down clinging to my alabaster body. What a soft, cute, heartwarming cuddly bear I would be...

Sweating like a noble trunk animal and wheezing like a pug, I arrived at the garage. So: I smell like a buck who has had his way with a pig and sound like a pug gasping for air in its last breaths!

Animal fusion! BOSAMO (buck-pug) so to speak!

Today it was supposed to be Apulia, along the panoramic roads along the coast to Santa Maria de Leuca and then off to the hut in Torre Vado.

But first I had to conquer the endless expanses of Italian roads...

Endlessly long, stretching, never-ending asphalt snakes... It really breaks me! Unbearable for me!

But I was compensated! What a area! Pure enjoyment of curves and a view that seriously hindered me from enjoying the curves, because I, the idiot, constantly keep an eye out for photo stuff!

The accommodation today surprised me additionally: Located directly on the sea, I have the place all to myself for 24 euros.

The lovely sound of the sea caresses my ear and the gentle kiss of the surf tenderly strokes my soul! The mists of the sea spray envelop my troubles, the caressing touch of the wind carries them out into the deep blue, where they will vanish forever and disappear in the infinite vastness of the sea!

What a rasp...
