808 Kilometers
Yes, today we are talking about many, many kilometers. 808 kilometers to be exact. Once from Hiroshima to Tokyo. That's halfway across the country. From Hiroshima, Fukuyama, Okayama, Himeji to Kobe, where I will transfer and then continue through Osaka, Kyoto to Tokyo. 5 hours on the Shinkansen to say goodbye and enjoy this special service again on the most beautiful and fastest train in the world. My last stop. Again. Here, the circle of my journey closes. And from here, I will go back to Frankfurt and then to Fulda or Dipperz. I am really looking forward to my home. But before that, a few highlights will be ignited and all exchanged yen money will be spent. I will visit an onsen, planetarium, a modern art museum, and end it all at Disney Sea World. That will be the perfect end even if my suitcase won't close anymore. I will have to use some Japanese folding techniques to fit everything in. A towel, socks, and my shower gel will not accompany me on the journey home, as they are waiting for me in Japan until I come back.
