... but not in Gifu City. My language school is located on the outskirts and about 9-10 km away from the city center. However, if you cross the river - oh what a surprise - the next city: Ogaki (which is still part of Gifu Prefecture). About a 15-minute walk from the language school is Ogaki Castle. On the way there, at least 5 temples appeared, but they were deserted (today it is very hot and Japanese people avoid the sun. Being tanned is not considered beautiful. However, I still walk around in shorts and t-shirt :D).
Tomorrow I have to find the town hall. I need to have my address registered on my Residence Card (for foreigners). Otherwise, I may have problems during a police check :)
By the way, I have managed to keep the bed bugs at bay. I bought a spray that you can use on bed sheets and futons. It seems to be working. I haven't gotten any new bites or at least I haven't noticed. However, my neck and arms still look like I walked through a swarm of mosquitoes. The others said I have an allergy. As long as the bugs stay away now, I don't care :D
