I have thought a lot about what to do with my last free month. After Chile and Madeira, I had the opportunity for another long-haul trip. Costa Rica? Thailand? South Africa? Or 'just' Europe? I researched all destinations on the Internet, and the information overload paralyzed me rather than helping me move forward. After many conversations with people close to me, I decided to go to 'just' Europe and fulfill my wish to finally see the Green Island and, above all, the Giant's Causeway - and I am relieved about the decision.
The flight took me to Dublin, and since I was already there, I wanted to at least get to know the city briefly. So I stayed here for a day and did a tourist short program 😊 In other words, a free walking tour - and now I can wholeheartedly recommend it if you visit a city for the first time.
With the Dublin Free Walking Tour, I spontaneously got to know the highlights of the South Side of Dublin (i.e., south of the River Liffey).
