Where Stars are born

Publicēts: 12.10.2018

Today we spent the day at Universal Studios. We got up early and took an Uber straight there. We were met with lines and security checks at the beginning. But after a short time, we were inside. Buy tickets if possible before your visit, you don't want to stand in this line. It seemed endless.

There is a map in many different languages right at the entrance. We didn't need it as the park is very easy to navigate. As soon as you enter, you'll come across characters from movies like Alex and King Julien from Madagascar. There are special themed areas like The Simpsons. The characters for each area are located within their respective areas. Those that don't have a specific theme can be found somewhere in the park, usually near the entrance. However, their appearances are limited by time.

We laughed a lot today. The people in various costumes take their time for each visitor not only to take a photo, but also to fool around with them.

What we also liked was that each character had an employee standing by who willingly took photos of visitors with the characters.

In addition to the rides, special shows are also offered. We attended one that showed how special effects are done. Very impressive. The comparison between then and now particularly impressed us.

In the second part of the park, you can take a photo with a life-size velociraptor dinosaur. It is spectacular to see an entrance like that of a wild animal.

The park has a lot to offer for both young and old.

One small bonus point we would like to mention: for about $20, you get a refillable cup. Pay once and refill it again and again. Thumbs up for this ecological solution!
