The alarm goes off at 5:15 a.m. and we are supposed to pick Beate up at the airport at 6 a.m. Everything works, except that the airport is very small and everything went very quickly and Beate has been waiting for us since 5 a.m. Great joy of seeing each other again. The manual business makes our device work. Now the Tbilisi visit is no longer in the way. First we go to a shopping center parking lot and have a long breakfast. Then the things are rearranged in the van. Falk and Jonas pack their backpacks for the return flight and Beate concedes. Our first port of call is the post-Soviet Sameba Cathedral. The largest church in the Caucasus region holds 15,000 people, the height from the ground floor to the top of the dome is 84 m. Financed and commissioned by the former Georgian president and multi-billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili. Once we arrive in the city center at Europaplatz, we cross the Kura on the Peace Bridge, visit the famous baths in the old town and eat typical Georgian food. Then we get tired. I pull myself together with Jonas to go for a walk through the city. We visit Rustaveli Avenue with all the sights. Then we all meet again in a pub and have a meal. The decision is made, we are tired, that's it for today. We do the grocery shopping, take Jonas and Falk to the airport and I drive with Beate to a beautiful winery where we find a nice parking space. 6375km
