Since it rained all night, we woke up later than usual. The first destination was the southernmost point of the Lofoten Islands, the town of ' Å '. As fishing is the main industry in the Lofoten Islands, you can find drying racks for stockfish everywhere. This means that the fish heads are dried separately and exported to West Africa, while the rest of the fish goes to Italy, Spain, and Portugal. We learned all about the history of the local fishing industry at the stockfish museum. Now we're heading north again. We made a detour to Nusfjord, an old fishing village. Then we continued to Svolvaer for camping.
