The night was very pleasant and calm for me. Freddy couldn't sleep and watched a couple who were maneuvering between two vehicles with a van around midnight to find a place to spend the night. But honestly, there was no need to get so close and almost hit our mirror...a little more consideration would have been nice.
In the morning, we do some googling to discover a supermarket or shopping opportunity. A small mini market just 1.2 km away sounds good. I shoulder my backpack and set off towards the store. I imagined being able to fill the fridge a bit...but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The mini market lived up to its name, and I was only able to grab a small pack of toast and some pastries. The fridge was off, and there were mainly canned goods on the shelves. Okay, I can understand that since the season is over and no tourists venture there anymore.
The afternoon drags on, quite literally. It's raining and might thunder later in the afternoon. Let's see...at 17 degrees C, we can handle it 😂😁. Freddy picks out a few places where we can spend the night. With the VR goggles, it's really great. It's as if you're right there on-site and can see everything. It's also nice because you can see the way there as well...a fantastic advantage...rarely are there surprises...
The sunset is spectacular, and we enjoy the evening with broad beans, potatoes, Mettwurst, and bacon...delicious..

Our journey continues to the next overnight destination. A stop at a grocery store replenishes our supplies, and we can relax and survive for a few more days 😁. Our trip ends in Agii Theodori, a small place on the Saronic Gulf...great fishing spot, lovely for swimming (ok maybe tomorrow...it's a bit chilly). We go fishing and realize we need to choose something different for dinner.
The overnight spot is right by the water, and a feeling of a cliffside location emerges. Water as far as the eye can see, mountains, and a nice Greek guy with whom we managed to converse in English as best as we could. He advises us to go swimming...the weather will be a bit better tomorrow, and then we'll just test it out...we are tough and campers.
It's just 5:00 PM, and the sun is slowly setting...partly covered by clouds, and we hope this front doesn't come our way...we'll just let ourselves be surprised.
