VATNAJÖKULL National Park

First stop, the VATNAJÖKULL Glacier, visit the lagoon later in the evening. The amazing views will only come the next morning when I climb the opposite mountain. The view is overwhelming. A large glacier tongue with many icebergs in the lagoon.

Second stop, the SVARTIFOSS Waterfall. A beautiful path to the waterfall that is really fun. The waterfall is nestled in basalt formations that look amazing. It is nestled like in an amphitheater, really beautiful.

On the way back from the waterfall, a path goes LEFT to SJONARNIPA, at the end of the path there is a WOW view of the glacier and the lagoon.
