PINGVELLIR, KERID, GEYSIR, GULLFOSS

The Pingvellir National Park is not so exciting for me personally.

The KERID volcanic crater is privately owned and costs 400 ISK for admission. It can be done as it is beautiful to look at, but it can also be skipped.

The STROKKUR GEYSIR is a real attraction. Since I spent almost 2 weeks in the Westfjords and hardly met any people, the Geysir attraction with the large number of tourists was very unusual. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend seeing the Geysir. It is incredible to see the water literally explode with force. You shouldn't miss it.

The Gullfoss waterfall is one of the most beautiful on Iceland for me personally, also because there is a continuous rainbow over the waterfall. A must-see!
