Today we had planned to do the Moosalm Children's Trail. For this, there is a hiking booklet for the hike up to the Moosalm. Along the way, you will come across 15 little houses. Each one 'houses' an animal in the form of a stamp. Once you have collected all the stamps, you will receive a badge. Unfortunately, we were informed by our hosts that the Moosalm is closed today. They were very kind and provided us with food and a surprise package for Henriette. We thought that was great. So, we set off and Henriette was excited about each stamp. The way up was quite challenging and tiring, but we made it. As a result, we pretty much had the Moosalm to ourselves for resting, while the children played in the sandbox and we enjoyed the view of the mountains. We also fed the rabbits with dandelion leaves and then made our way back downhill - a bit easier :-) Henriette double-checked to make sure all the animals were still in their houses ;-) Henriette could collect the badge at the tourist office. After that, we drove to the Unterhofalm, had ice cream there, and then hiked around the Almsee. Great views and even closer to the mountains and the so-called 'Bischofsmütze'. Then it started raining... we timed it well and returned to the Unterhofalm - we were the last guests ;-)
