WE DID IT, we have an adapter for the gas tank!!!!! It was a bit of a challenge to get the tank refilled with gas. At the Algarve, where we last refilled gas, it was no problem. After today, on the way to Lisbon, there were no suitable adapters available at two more gas stations, so we went to a motorhome dealer. But he didn't have one in stock either, but he was very helpful and called a colleague who had one :-). However, to get there, we had to drive 50 km, first through Lisbon :-( and then another 30 km southwest.

Afterwards, we had enough and drove to the nearest campsite in Sand, a small town on the coast.

In the morning, we made a detour to the lighthouse and the pilgrimage site near Sesimbra.
