In order to book a hotel in our next destination Brighton, we needed Wi-Fi. This meant we had to find a McDonald's. There, we also found a suitable room at the Best Western Princes Marine Hotel, which was built right by the sea. On the way, we made a stop at the Beachy Head Nature Reserve near Eastbourne. From the top of the cliffs, you can see quite far across the Kent countryside. The view over the vastness of the sea is also rewarding. The roads there are fantastic and it was a pleasure to drive through the hilly landscape.
The subsequent nature park named Seven Sisters Country Park was just as breathtaking as the cliffs before. Just before Brighton, we stopped at a beach to capture the last rays of sunshine from the cloudy sky and have something to eat. Then check in at the hotel and enjoy a cozy long evening for a change, accompanied by the imaginative cursing of a resident under the hotel room window.
