After 24 hours, we arrived in Windhoek. The chaos in the Addis Ababa airport's transfer area was overwhelming. There were chaotic assignments to the individual control points, and everyone had to manage their own luggage. It felt like a secret drawing as all passengers took off their shoes and walked through the body scanner in socks or barefoot.
Upon arriving in Windhoek, we experienced the Namibian immigration authorities and had to wait in the winding immigration line for about an hour and a half until everything was checked, the immigration form was satisfactorily completed, and our passports received their stamps.
We were relieved when we finally sat in the car with our friendly driver Joseph, heading to Windhoek.
In the evening, we had a short city tour by bus and a group dinner with our travel group at Joe's Beerhouse.
