Today we have a quite long drive ahead of us as our next accommodation is in the north of Tasmania. First, we stop at Lake Binney and walk around a bit. We pass by Nelson Falls waterfall.
Then we make a stop at Lake Burbury.
We visit the mining town of Queenstown. There is the end station of the West Coast Wilderness Railway, which is operated by an old locomotive.
The journey is a real highlight as the vegetation often changes and the weather is excellent. After a long trip, we finally arrive in Devonport and check into our motel there. In the evening, we walk through the city and notice once again that some shops and restaurants are already closed after 6 pm. Finally, we order from a kebab shop, have to give our names, and receive a Yufka with the name Deniz and one for Train. It was delicious nonetheless.
