Whistler is one of the most beautiful ski resorts in the Rockies and was a former Olympic center for the 2010 Winter Games. The architecture of the houses and the location alone give the town its special charm.
Here you can see some ski slopes. The season opening is scheduled for the end of November. This means that we unfortunately cannot go skiing here.
Just awesome, right? By the way, it's a fitness studio :-P
It was really cold. No comparison to the previous temperatures *hehe*
I knew I took a picture. There are the rings.
The small town in the background is the ski resort. Awesome :-)
The Whistler moose!
The next day, we took a little tour. We stopped at some lakes and explored the landscape.
This led us spontaneously to this great place. There was a small hike to waterfalls. We didn't know what to expect, but off we went.
Only the bear is missing in this picture. Like in an adventure movie ;-)
This is one of my favorite pictures of the day.
Okay, we imagined something bigger but I did it, yay :-)
Successful mission, I think you can see it on my face.
From the waterfalls we continued to Pemberton. It's also a small town, more in western style as you can see.
By the way, you can see a small bakery here, where we first strengthened ourselves with coffee and pastries.
Another beautiful day comes to an end. More tomorrow :-)
